They always say life is short. Well, that is true only when you look back, not when you're in it. Bad moments seem to last excruciatingly long, while good moments fly past rather quickly.
So what do you do when within the space of one week, you got a 'F' grade, you missed a test, you fell sick, and you broke up with your girlfriend?
Well, you can always look back at your memorial stones. Memorial stones are your defining moments in life. They are the times where you’ve gone through a bad patch, and yet have managed to come out of it – faster, stronger, wiser. Memorial stones remind you that you have been through worse, that you are more capable than you think you are. They are the events, circumstances, and epiphanies that have shaped you into who you are today.

I am the sum of my memories.
For me, memorial stones have an added meaning as well. They represent the Words God has spoken to me, and the times where He lifted me out of my troubles. Memorial stones represent a future that is yet to be, and promises that God is sure to fulfil.
Today, as I look back at these memorial stones, I am reminded that things will always work out fine for those who love God.
